A few days ago Chie lost a filling in one of her teeth and we had got a scheduled time for fixing it at the Folktandvården (dentist) in söderhamn. It was the first time for Chie to visit the dentist in Sweden. Her dentist was Nobuko Inglund, a Japanese, but most of the time she was cared for by a young guy from Gothenburg learning to be a dentist. His hands was very big for her small mouth.
On our way to Söderhamn we stopped at mother and Ulf’s summer house. This was the first time in many years that my grandmother and mother met. So we made a group photo for the special occasion.
Even earlier in the morning, just after breakfast, Chie and I took the boat out to get the fishing net. To our surprise we got 14 fishes: 1 pike-perch, 5 European perch, and 8 carp bream. The 8 carp bream were too small to eat so John took them out in the forest and left them there for cats and birds to eat.
John helped us take the fish out of the net. Then we put it in the refrigerator to keep it there until the evening.
In the evening we cleaned the fish and prepared in for dinner. We used the pike-perch and 2 of the European perch for it. Yummy!
After dinner we played Boccia in the garden. John had home field advantage and won both rounds.
