10 days since I “crashed” with my bicycle, and part of my right face is still numb as if I am just out from a root canal fill at the dentist. So I decided to take a trip to the hospital.
Had a quick talk with the Doctor, who decided to take an X-ray. It took less than 3 minutes, and after another 5 minutes I was back with the Doctor looking at my X-rayed face.
The first thing that hit me was… No wonder I’m stupid, there’s no brain 😉
Turns out nothing is broken. The numbness is caused by a damaged nerve close to the cheek bone. Basically where the impact was last Wednseday morning.
Got tons of Medecine that I will skip most of. One is to take care of the side effects by another. Stupidity… Take this so you don’t get sick from taking this so you get well. How screwed up is that? I’m sticking with the Vitamin B12 supplement though (the red obes to the right). It can help with nerve damages (if there is a deficiency).
Good thing nothing is broken! Has the swolling gone down?
Maybe try to chew some gum – to “activate” the affected area and “loosen things up”. Trust me, I’m an expert in “bro science” (that’s actually a real term – often describing health related advice without scientific backing…lol).
Get well ASAP!
Will buy chewing gum today, thanks for the advice 😉
