Summer time is around the corner in Tokyo, and that means time to eat cold somen (noodles).
We usually have it for breakfast with okra, myoga, leak, shiso, ginger, sesame seeds and a bouillon made of water, katsuobushi, mirin and thin soy sauce.
All natural without any chemicals. Just love, which is all you need 😉
Yummy!!!
Never heard about eating cold noodles before but it makes sense to eat cold food in hot weather.
Very exotic “condiments”, especially the dried, fermented and smoked tuna – at least with my Swedish perspective.
Great pic btw. 🙂
Thanks, next time you visit we will try it 🙂
