We left the hotel at 8 am to catch a 10:07 am flight to Kauai. The flight is only 25 or so minutes so it never really gets boring.

In Kauai we got our bags, picked up our rental car and drove straight to our Poipu Plantation Resort. Here we were great by Chris, Javeed and Melissa – always so friendly and helpful. We could check into our room and we spent some time to unpack, at least enough to find our swimwear./p>

Having found our swimwear there was nothing stopping us from going to Kiahuna beach where we enjoyed the big waves and the sunshine. We spent most of the afternoon and early evening at the beach, playing in the waves and enjoying being back in Kauai… And Robert seemed to be enjoying being here for the first time too.

At 5:45 or so we all went grocery shopping. Dinner was late and almost directly after dinner Robert had to go to bed, jet lag. Chie and I went to bed shortly after that 🙂
