Blue sky in the morning when we woke up. So our plan to go to the beach was implemented (Sorry for the tech talk… It means we had a plan to go and today we went 🙂 ).

It was 1 hour and 30 minutes train and bus rides to get to Ishiki beach. The beach here is black sand so it gets quite hot in the sun. But today it was a nice breeze making it perfect.

We lay down just in front of the Emperor’s summer house. But he came out and told us he didn’t mind… Or maybe he did not 😉

It was a really great day at the beach. At around 4 pm we went back home. The bus stop just after we entered the bus it was a school class or something entering. It filled the bus with kids about 12 years old. All having a box of sea urchin, small crabs, and so on, that they had caught during the day.

Evil mind as Chie and I have we enjoyed the bus ride even more after the kids entered. Why? Well now we could see the surprised faces of all the people wanting to go home after a day at the beach but the bus just passed without even stopping at their bus stop 😉
