I was in meetings for almost 6 hours today. The last meeting was for a 3 and a half hour. And I was the note taker. My boss had asked me to take notes and to make a draft Minutes of Meeting (MoM) before I left. The meeting ended at 5 pm so I was stuck at the office until 9 pm. And today was the last day of the work week too since tomorrow is a national holiday.
Once I finalized the MoM and sent it to my boss I took a taxi back home and met Chie at Yasaka. She had already finished dinner but we could still enjoy the time together.
Tonight was a somewhat special night for us. Soon it is sakura (cherry blossom) season in Japan. In Naka-Meguro the hang lamps along the river to celebrate this. And Chie and I have 2 lamps 🙂
After ordering the first round of kushi-yaki, Chie and I went to watch our lamps 😀
