+-0

I recently went to Sweden for a business trip. I bought a lot of things that I cannot find in Japan. I also found a clock for the wall that I though was pretty cool, and Chie and I had been talking about replacing our very expensive clock from IKEA (300 JPY ~ 25 SEK).

The funny thing was that when I got back to Japan and showed the clock to Chie we found out that all the text inside the box was in Japanese. It turned out that the +-0 brand actually is Japanese :-O

Another Weekend with Coco the Dog

We spent yet another weekend with Coco the dog in Tokorozawa. As usual we did not do much, except cooking and walking Coco the dog. The food was yummy and Coco the dog enjoyed the walking 🙂

It is starting to get quite warm outside now. This weekend it was 30 degrees. And I was in shorts and t-shirt all the time, and it was pleasant 8-), well I did not sleep in shorts and t-shirt but that was basically the only time I did not wear that outfit 😉

We also bought water for money that some people have donated to us. 14 boxes of 6x2l of water, which meant 168 liters. Chie’s mother also donated a kotatsu (Japanese table with built in heater), which one of the families in Kobuchihama had asked for (the nights up there are still quite cold). It will be shipped June 9-10.

Donation from a Friend

Got back to Tokyo from Sweden today. Arrived in the morning and got directly back to the office for a few meetings. At 3:30 pm I was so tired I went home.

In the evening Chie and I had dinner at Yasaka. After a while a work colleague to Chie showed up with her husband and two kids (boy and girl). We had a good time eating and talking. The purpose for them was not to eat but to deliver some things they wanted to donate for Tohoku earthquake victims, it’s been added to an upcoming shipment here.

Dinner with Josef

No workshop today but a few meetings. So the day was busy. In the afternoon I got a ride back to Malmö with Josef. On the way back to Malmö we agreed to have dinner together with his wife (Caroline).

For the second time we tried to have dinner at the Thai boat, but it seems to always be closed. We went to the Italian restaurant VESPA instead and had a nice pizza with salad. Afterwards we each bought an ice cream at a nearby Italian ice cream bar. Yummy!
