I got this link from Ara-san’s Facebook page. Monique van der Vorst has been paralyzed from the waist since she was 13. In the Beijing Paralympics she won 2 silver medals in hand cycling. Last year she was in a hand cycling accident and while recovering at a hospital her feet started to tingle. Now she can walk again and have been signed to a professional cycling team with the goal to compete in the Rio Olympics 2016.
