I order a few books from Amazon.co.jp today. My procedure is to look the books up at Amazon.com and then order them at the Japanese site.
A few minutes after I placed the order I got an email with the following message: “ã«ã”注文ã•ã‚ŒãŸå•†å“ã®ãŠå±Šã‘予定日ãŒç¢ºèªã§ãã¾ã—ãŸã®ã§ãŠçŸ¥ã‚‰ã›ã—ã¾ã™ã€‚ã”注文ã„ãŸã ãã¾ã—ãŸå•†å“ã¨ãŠå±Šã‘予定日ã¯ä»¥ä¸‹ã®ã¨ãŠã‚Šã§ã™ã€‚”, which was a bit difficult for me to understand so what to do? Well, in the wonderful times of Internet and Google you simple sort of Google it. Or use the Google translate function.
Turns out that if Google is correct then Amazon.co.jp has quite high thoughts about themselves, The SUN. Well, when I order books you are quite important but I believe the sun is more important for my survival than Amazon.co.jp 😉
