On my birthday I got the “Rosendals TrädgÃ¥rdscafé” cook book from my mother. Now we finally had bought all the ingredients necessary to bake a French sticky chocolate cake with blue poppy seeds.
So while Chie took a foot bath I frenetically baked the cake.
It took less than 1 hour, including the 30 minutes in the oven, until the cake was ready… But too hot to eat 🙁 I had to wait for another hour or so before I could get my first bite.
It was yummy! Though I found out I had accidentally put in almost the double amount of poppy seeds. Obviously 3/4 dl is not the same as 3/4 cup. I just read 3/4 on the measure and was happy with that. Better watch out next time.
