Another Weekend in Tokorozawa

Again we went to Tokorozawa to spend the weekend there with Coco. Most of the time we just played with him. He LOVES running after a small rubber ball. Pick it up and come back with it. Drop it in your hand. And then he looks at you “AGAIN!”. What can you do but through the ball again?

I also had time for taking him on walks. At least one walk a day for 40-60 minutes. Where he can stop anywhere and sniff as much as he likes. I hope he likes it. Or maybe we are both out walking for the other one. Maybe Coco thinks “that big white guy seems to like it so I jsut tag along and pretend I like it too”, and I am basically there walking for his sake. That would be quite funny 😀

Before I went to bed I started to watch True Blood. A TV series about Vampires. The intro is great with the Jace Everett song “Do Bad Things to You”. The series seems OK. Quite interesting idea about the relationship between the new vampire in town and a psychic girl.

Coco the Cool Dog

Another visit to Tokorozawa for Chie and me. Fist time since quite a few weeks now because we’ve been to Hawaii. SO it was fun to meet Coco again. Also, the weather have cooled down since the summer so we (Coco and me) could go for a walk even during day time.

He looked cool in his leash with a scull reflector. And he knows it 😉

Coco-chan

Coco-chan is the most cute dog. When I am out walking with him people usually stop and say “kawaii” which means cute in Japanese. Then I look surprised, blush a bit, point to my nose and say “Watashi? Arigato!” or “Me? Thank you!”. Or maybe not 😉

In the evening it was cool enough to have a walk with Coco. But it was too dark for anyone to comment on my or on Coco’s looks. Though I think both of us were quite cute 🙂

ONce back home Coco got his dinner, and refused to eat it. Which I can understand when you compare the pictures. Coco’s dinner is to the left and ours is to the right 😛

Wet Coco

It’s been too hot for Coco to be taking a walk in the daytime for quite some while now. So Chie and I made a day trip to Tokorozawa, bought Coco a pool and filled it with cool water.

Though Coco may not look like he is having fun he was a new dog after the pool. Much more energy to play. It is quite hard when it is 35 or more degrees in the shadow and you are wearing a fur coat.

In the evening we all went to a chinese restaurant for dinner. It was so so. Chie’s homemade chinese food is lightyears better.

35 Degrees

Long weekend since Monday is a National Holiday in Japan. Have looking forward to it for a while now. And we took the opportunity to go to Tokorozawa to spend an extra day with Coco.

Unfortunately it was hot hot hot. And quite humid, though not rainy season humid. 35 degrees. And too hot for Coco to have a walk in the middle of the day.

So Coco and I took a walk in the mornings and in the evenings. He seemed quite satisfied with that. OR at least he did not bite me in protest 😉
