Tea, Tea, Tea…

Today I missed my monthly tea ceremony. For some reason it totally slipped my mind. Too busy?

To compensate I bought some tea at the Mariage Freres in Ebisu. A box of 30 bags of Earl Grey Imperial for work, 100g of Earl Grey French Blue, and new Darjeleen (like a young wine, only better).

This blog post is mainly to start keep track of the different teas so I can pick my favorite. The Maraiage Freres Earl Grey I just finished was better than the French Blue I bought today (in my cup as I’m writing), but I don’t remember the name of it. Bummer.

Well, they only have the following Earl Grey variants at Mariage Freres so just 15 to go 🙂

  • Breakfast
  • D’or
  • Detheine
  • English
  • French Blue (just bought as leafs)
  • Grand
  • Highland
  • Imperial (just bought as tea bags)
  • (Normal)
  • Oolong
  • Provence
  • Pu-Erh
  • Roi Des
  • Rouge
  • Sencha
  • Silver Tips
  • Smoky

So currently my rating is:

  1. [Unknown] Earl Grey
  2. Earl Grey French Blue

Stay tuned for Top 10 to crystallize 😉

Still Numb After All this Time…

10 days since I “crashed” with my bicycle, and part of my right face is still numb as if I am just out from a root canal fill at the dentist. So I decided to take a trip to the hospital.

Had a quick talk with the Doctor, who decided to take an X-ray. It took less than 3 minutes, and after another 5 minutes I was back with the Doctor looking at my X-rayed face.

The first thing that hit me was… No wonder I’m stupid, there’s no brain 😉

Turns out nothing is broken. The numbness is caused by a damaged nerve close to the cheek bone. Basically where the impact was last Wednseday morning.

Got tons of Medecine that I will skip most of. One is to take care of the side effects by another. Stupidity… Take this so you don’t get sick from taking this so you get well. How screwed up is that? I’m sticking with the Vitamin B12 supplement though (the red obes to the right). It can help with nerve damages (if there is a deficiency).
