Week’s End

Worked somewhat longer today than I usually do. Left the office around 18 compared to my usual 17:30, though I was still one of the first to leave 🙂 Anyway, I was awarded with a colorful sky.

Hanami Party

I usually leave home around 7:15 in the morning to go to the office. This morning was no exception. But to my surprise there was a group of people having a hanami (flower watching) party a the Meguro river.

It was difficult to know if they had started the party exceptionally early or if they had continued the party throughout the night. Though it was quite clear that they were more interested in drinking and smoking than actually doing anything for the party to live up to its name (watching flowers that is).

Another One

At 23:36 I was abruptly woken from my beauty sleep, to which I had fallen just a few minutes earlier. Another earthquake. This was one of the biggest (7.4) since the great Tohoku earthquake almost 4 weeks ago.

Once I realized that neither Chie nor I would die today… I went back to sleep.

Atlas Shrugged

For anyone of you that have planned to read Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged but hesitated because 1100 pages or so book in very small text seems overwhelming. Well, your wait is over… At least soon. Atlas Shrugged is coming to a theater near you. Starting with Part 1 on April 15. Then you just have to wait for the other 500 or so parts 😉
