St. Valentine’s Day

In the evening, after a gym session, Chie and I went to Red Pepper in Ebisu. There we met Non, Ryo, Andreas and Jonas for St. Valentine’s Day dinner.

We had a lot of good food and talked about おひとりさま (ohitorisama) which basically means a person without a date. That was what Non, Ryo, Andreas and Jonas were. Andreas and Jonas kind of had dates but they are in Sweden so it was a bit difficult to have dinner together.

We talked about other things than people without dates as well. Like what to order for desert. We all had apple pancake with vanilla ice, but I also had strawberry sherbet. Yummy!

Oh, almost forgot. Valentine’s Day in Japan means you get chocolate… If you’re they guy 🙂 Though we have to pay back in a month’s time when it is White Day 🙁

Raider Nation Japan Invades Yoshiman

Hectic day at the office and I was an hour or so delayed for the Raider Nation Japan party at Yoshiman in Ginza. When I arrived they didn’t seem to have missed me much anyway.

Everyone was fully occupied eating, drinking and discussing the season that for the best NFL team just ended, but that for Raiders ended a loooong time ago.

We had a new member joining the party today. And as our tradition is the newcomer fell asleep 😀

After Yoshiman we went looking for a bar. But it is impossible in Ginza… Well, not to find a bar but to find a bar that is not full. We eventually found one but then we all were quite tired. One even went so far as to falling asleep in the bathroom. It was kind of the signal for all of us that it was time to go home.

Coco Got Brand New Socks

As always when we go to Tokorozawa to visit Coco we bring a lot of food for him, some snacks and toys. Today we brought him brand new socks instead of toys. Most of all the socks were for our pleasure. We wanted to see how he looked when he was walking wearing the socks.

We laughed our guts out at first. Coco did as most dogs wearing something on their feet… Lifting the feet as high as they can with every step 😀

But Coco is a pretty smart dog and he soon walked around as usual. And actually, to our surprise, seemed to enjoy the socks.

Between walking and playing with Coco we relaxed. Coco often took his favorite place which is on top of the reclining chair when Chie played Nintendo DS.

At some times he tried to squeeze his head through between my head and my arm so that he could get a better look at what I was eating. Mostly apple pie and ice cream 😛

Gamarjobat

Joined Andreas and a friend of his, Jonas, at Shinagawa station, actually I joined Andreas already at 7F at the office. From Shinagawa station we took bus number 5 to the Ginga Theatre where we met Chie.

We were going to watch Gamarjobat and their G10 show. G10 because it is their tenths anniversary. Gamarjobat shows are difficult to explain but a mix of silent comedy, street show, and theatre without words but with full body control.

They are always hilariously fun. And this show was no exception. Jonas got a yellow card because he did not catch what he was asked to do 😀

Before and the show Jonas, Andreas, Chie and I had dinner at an Irish pub just outside the theatre. We had dinner again after the show at the same pub. But now with Non and Ryo too.

At 10 pm we decided to return to Meguro, where we stopped at Andreas favorite bar. We stayed there until it was way past my bedtime.
