Today’s mission was to go Ginza to buy a camera lens for a friend of Ulf’s. Nikkor 70-200 mm AF-S VR F2.8G IF. A nice lens. A big lens. I’m a little concerned about space in my bag when I go back to Sweden.
Met Chie at Naka-meguro station. Then we went to Iroha-sushi for dinner. It was nice to finally have some nice sushi. The sushi in Stockholm is far from the quality you can find in Tokyo. Even at relatively cheap places such as Iroha-sushi you get good sushi with a lot of choices.

Sick Day
Felt sick all day long. My nose was running. Probably some type of allergic reaction but it is still making you tired as if you were sick. Just went out a short trip. Passed the construction area in Naka-meguro. They are building a 50-stories high building there.
In the evening we had udon at home. Yummy.
Returned to Tokyo
Arrived at Narita airport in the evening. From there we took the Narita Express to Shinagawa and then a taxi home. We just dumped our bags in the apartment before leaving again. This time for dinner at Yasaka. As usual delicious.
Returning to Tokyo
Woke up early to catch our flight to Honolulu. At the Honolulu airport we had a few hours to kill before returning back to Tokyo. We killed the hours by walking around and checking the duty free shopping. We also had a lunch. Then just before boarding we bought a sandwich and water to bring on board. We had ordered fruit plates as meals on board so the sandwich was a great supplement.
The flight was uneventful. We watched some movies, read some, and slept for an hour.
Kiahuna Beach & Roy’s
Last day in Kauai and of course we went to our favorite beach Kiahuna. Today the waves was great. Big and a lot of fun. Not only to play in but also for watching people playing in the waves.
We stayed at Kiahuna all day long. Playing in the waves. Reading. Watching people. Relaxing. And eating the mango we found yesterday. It was yummy.
Around 4:30 pm we returned to our room to get ready to our dinner. Usually on our last night in Kauai we have dinner out. Usually at Roy’s. Tonight as well. We had made a reservation a few days ago. That was lucky, when we arrived the restaurant was full.
We ordered a salad as a starter. Our main courses were some kind of Hawaiian tempura and rib steak with mashed potato. Best of all was the desert, Roy’s melting chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. Yummy.
When we got back to our room our bellies were full. And there was a pot of mango marmalade on our door step. It was a thank you for a mango that we gave to one of our neighbors this morning. On our way to the car they told us that they had tried to get a mango from the tree that looked so great but that they were too short. Then they left for the beach or something. I just jumped up and grabbed the mango and put it on their door step. Easy way to get mango marmalade.
