Weekend in Tokorozawa

It’s been a few weeks since we visited Coco now so it was about time. I think Coco was of the same opinion. Especially considering how crazy happy he seemed when we arrived.

Days spent relaxing, playing with Coco, and walking with Coco. Oh, we spent quite a lot of time eating too

A Crazy Dog Called Coco

This weekend we went to Tokorozawa to visit Coco again, we went already on Friday night after a quick visit to Yasaka for dinner. As usual when we arrive in Tokorozawa Coco went crazy. Actually this weekend he was more crazy than usual… The whole weekend. He never wanted to leave Chie’s side. Chie too got crazy so we decide to lock them both in Coco’s cage.

Bad girl and dog!

Saturday was raining the whole day. But Sunday was much better. We decide to take Coco to the dog park, which he as usual did not like. Scared as he was he tried to hide behind Chie all the time. Or get away by jumping up on a bench.

In some sense I can understand him. Who would like to have a chain of dogs linked to himself, all of them sniffing the other in the crotch? And all the sissies with their pink and baby blue shoes. And some dogs tried to look cool in their Harley Davidson skin jackets but only managed to look like a scared little… Well, dog.

Dog Park with Coco

Yesterday it was raining a lot but today the sun was shining again. We decided to take advantage of the fine weather to take Coco to the dog park.

We enjoyed walking in the park for almost an hour. We let him loose and he was running around. Or basically I hold him while Chie walked away for about 30-50 meters while Coco tried to wriggle himself out of my grip.

Then he run full speed to Chie. And tried to jump up on her make her carry him.

On our way to the dog park we found winter sakura. Or plum trees that have their blossom during the coldest time of the year.

Then we ended up in the dog park. And the result was the same as usual. Coco sitting at our feet scared to death of the other dogs. Trying his best to move around us to have our feet in between him and other dogs that wanted to say “hello, come and play with us”.

Visiting Coco in Tokorozawa

Arriving a little bit late in Tokorozawa due to us waiting for Yoshiki-san to finish a business meeting. In Tokorozawa I had tea and okashi as usual. Yummy.

In the evening we had shabu-shabu for dinner. Thin sliced meat and vegetables that we cooked in a bullion on gas stove at the table. Of course we can do something similar in Sweden but I doubt that we can find meat of the right quality.
