Getting Hot Hot Hot

I can feel the summer is coming. It is not super hot yet but you can feel it in that the sun is starting to get hot.

Today when I was walking Coco he tried to walk as much as possible in the shadow. And still it was not more than 24 degrees or so. But man… The sun… Getting hot I tell you.

Though the sun was hot we had a few short stops to take some photos. The first stop was to take a photo of a few women picking tea leaves. Around this area there a quite a few tea farms and factories. And these women, I guess, are working for one of the farms/factories.

Next stop was to take a photo of Coco and me. To “prove” that we actually were out walking together… Though Coco don’t seem to like it much on the photo.

In the evening we had mabu-nasu and a lot of other dishes. Mainly vegetable dishes. Yummy!

Oh, and the last picture is of Coco waiting for Chie to get back from the grocery store. Actually, Coco spends quite a lot of time on this chair watching the street outside… Waiting for Chie.

Springier Time in Tokorozawa

No one can blame Coco for not being cute. He is the cutest… Except for me that is 😉

Coco and I spent quite some time walking the small backstreets of Tokorozawa. Stopping once in a while to watch the flowers that start to pop up everywhere.

Playful Coco

Coco is not only cute but he likes to play as well 🙂 There is no end in his energy running and catching a ball that is thrown for him. Then coming back and wanting someone to throw the ball again… And again… And again.

In between the running and throwing he tries to wrestle the ball out of your hands. Making a “Grrrrrrrrr” sound. Very scary 😉

And sometimes he is a bad dog, and knows it. Like when he has been chewing on a PET bottle.

Musashi in Tokorozawa

Took a trip to Tokorozawa by train after tea ceremony in Tokyo. Met with Chie and her mother at Musashi for dinner. As usual it was delicious. I ordered a buri-kama-yaki (grilled yellowtail head) to bring back home. Tomorrow’s breakfast 😛

After dinner we went home to say hello to Coco. He was as cute as ever… Coco is the one to the right in the picture by the way 😉

Tokorozawa

A short weekend in Tokorozawa. We arrived quite late on Staurday. But I still manage to take Coco for a walk. And have dinner at Musashi.

On Sunday we took Coco to the veterinarian to schedule a surgery. He is going to get his balls cut out. Sounds tough but if not then there is a much higher risk for cancer.

After the visit to the doctor Coco and I went for a walk. The walk and the visit to the vet probably exhausted Coco because once we got home he took is favorite position (in Chie’s lap) and fell asleep.
