Walk Coco in Tokorozawa

After staying home and relaxing a whole day we went to Tokorozawa. Monday is a national holiday here in Japan so we still had 2 days in Tokorozawa. Most of the time we did not much more than we did at home… Relaxing.

Occasionally we also walked Coco. He kind of not like it when you start walk with him, but once he start sniffing around he seems to enjoy it. Except when Chie is with us then Coco’s whole attention is towards Chie.

No sniffing. No nothing. But Chie.

Also, when we are out walking many people just say out loud「かわいい」or “kawaii”, which means cute. So I try to look surprised point my index finger at my nose and say 「私?ありがとう!」which would something like “Me? Oh, thank you!”. Pointing the index finger at your nose is what a Japanese do when they are pointing at themselves, by the way.

Visit to Tokorozawa

We went to Tokorozawa this morning. And I scraped and painted some other part of the house’s vind panels in the afternoon.

Waiting for dinner I played some with Coco. And we waited together for Chie when she went to the grocery store to buy food for the dinner. We had shabu-shabu.

Waiting for Chie Tired

After dinner I was too tired to do anything but go straight to bed.

Painting the House

The main thing I did when arriving in Tokorozawa was to say hello to Coco and then to start painting the house. Well, not the house actually. The wind panels of the roof. Chocolate brown.

Painting the house

First I scraped the old paint off. Then brushed. And painted. I did most of the front side of the house.

At the end of the day I was so tired. We had dinner at a Korean BBQ restaurant and when we got back home I fell asleep.

Flowers of Tokorozawa

I have been reading some books on photography the last few weeks. So when going to Tokorozawa this weekend I brought the camera to try some new things. The circumstances were not the best since I had Coco on one hand and the camera in the other. And most books mentioned something about a tripod and always.

But it was a overcast day and I found some nice flowers. And all books mentioned that overcast brings out the colors in flowers. And gives that soft light that makes the pictures nice.

Coco resting

Afterwards Coco was kind of tired. He rested on his favorite place. On top of Chie’s choulder in the reclining chair in the kitchen.
