Coco-chan

Coco-chan is the most cute dog. When I am out walking with him people usually stop and say “kawaii” which means cute in Japanese. Then I look surprised, blush a bit, point to my nose and say “Watashi? Arigato!” or “Me? Thank you!”. Or maybe not 😉

In the evening it was cool enough to have a walk with Coco. But it was too dark for anyone to comment on my or on Coco’s looks. Though I think both of us were quite cute 🙂

ONce back home Coco got his dinner, and refused to eat it. Which I can understand when you compare the pictures. Coco’s dinner is to the left and ours is to the right 😛

Musashi

After the tea ceremony I got on the train and went to Tokorozawa. Where I met Chie and her mother at Musashi. A nice Japanese restaurant in Shin-Tokorozawa. Yummy!

35 Degrees

Long weekend since Monday is a National Holiday in Japan. Have looking forward to it for a while now. And we took the opportunity to go to Tokorozawa to spend an extra day with Coco.

Unfortunately it was hot hot hot. And quite humid, though not rainy season humid. 35 degrees. And too hot for Coco to have a walk in the middle of the day.

So Coco and I took a walk in the mornings and in the evenings. He seemed quite satisfied with that. OR at least he did not bite me in protest 😉

Sunflower in Tokorozawa

This weekend we went to Tokorozawa already on Friday night. Once we arrived we could relax for a while before we started to watch soccer. If someone had missed it, it is World Cup in South Africa.

When we did not watch soccer we relaxed in the air-conditioned kitchen. And I replaced the cool kitchen with the hot and humid outside for walks with Coco. He seemed to enjoy it, though his tongue was looking something like the Rolling Stones licking tongue.

I also had a walk by myself to take some photos. The above sunflower above is one of them.

Flower Time

Today was a little bit less warm than yesterday. Still enough hot to walk in flip-flop, shorts and t-shirt. Just as I did last night at 8 pm.

Anyway, Coco and I went for a longer walk. First stop was a vending machine where I bought some water for Coco and me. Though I ended up drinking most of it since Coco seems to refuse to drink any other water than Evian. Spoiled.

Flowers of all kind is starting to show up everywhere. Coco don’t seems to notice. But I do. And my camera does.

You may wonder what the Audi is doing besides the flowers? The simple explanation is that it is Chie’s new car, but more important is that the number plate is her birthday… November 13. About 20 years or so ago 😉
